Bambu Lab PLA Silk+ Gold 1kg – Refill is a top-tier PLA filament with a silky glossy surface in an attractive gold color. Thanks to the special PLA Silk+ formulation, you get prints with a polished metal effect that stand out with smooth light transitions and minimally visible layers when correct printing parameters are maintained.

The Refill (without plastic spool) variant is wound on a cardboard core and is intended for combination with the Bambu Lab Reusable Spool. This system saves plastic waste, storage space, and facilitates filament use in Bambu Lab printers, especially in combination with AMS/AMS Lite.

For maximum gloss, it is recommended to reduce outer wall speed (e.g., to approx. 50 mm/s) and print with a finer layer height.

Printing Recommendations

These values may vary depending on the specific printer and settings, but are based on the manufacturer's recommendations for PLA Silk+:

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 210–230 °C (depending on profile and print speed)
• Bed temperature: approx. 35–45 °C
• Outer wall print speed: around 50 mm/s for best gloss
• Build plate: textured or satin PEI plate recommended; use a clean surface without grease
• Storage: keep dry (ideally in a closed box or bag with silica gel); filament can be dried before printing for maximum surface quality.
