Bambu Lab PLA Basic Cocoa Brown – Refill is a replacement package of the popular PLA filament without a plastic spool, designed primarily for Bambu Lab printers and the AMS / AMS Lite system. However, you can also use it just as well on any other FDM printer with a filament diameter of 1.75 mm.

The elegant cocoa brown shade (Cocoa Brown, color code 10802, hex #6F5034) is ideal for figures, design objects, interior accessories, and functional parts where you want a natural "woody" or leathery color.

Recommended print settings

(specific values may vary by printer and conditions, we always recommend starting from the official profile in Bambu Studio or your machine's slicer)

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 190–220 °C
• Bed temperature: approx. 35–60 °C
• Print speed: medium to high (PLA Basic is also suitable for faster printing)

For printing on Bambu Lab printers, simply select the corresponding PLA Basic preset; RFID ensures automatic loading of parameters.

More ecological packaging thanks to the refill system

The refill variant of Bambu Lab PLA Basic is designed for use with reusable Bambu Lab spools. Thanks to this, it significantly reduces the production of plastic waste. Just put the refill on a compatible spool, snap it together, remove the fixing straps, and you can print.

Compatibility

• Bambu Lab X1 / X1C / P1P / P1S / A1 / A1 mini (with AMS or as a separate roll on a spool)
• Other FDM printers (Prusa, Creality, Anycubic, Sovol, etc.) with 1.75 mm filament diameter and corresponding profile for PLA

Storage

PLA Basic is less sensitive to moisture than some technical materials, yet it is recommended to:

• keep the filament in a dry and closed container
• in case of moisture absorption, dry it before printing (approx. 40–45 °C for several hours)

Thanks to proper storage, the filament will maintain a constant diameter, good feeding, and high-quality print surface.
