It combines very good toughness, flexibility, and strong layer bonding with user-friendly printability and limited stringing compared to standard PETG.

The dark Navy Blue shade is ideal for technical and functional parts where you want an elegant, subtle, yet distinct blue color.

Printing Recommendations

Specific profiles for Bambu Lab printers (X1, P1, A1 etc.) are available directly in Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer – simply select the “Bambu PETG Basic” profile and Navy Blue color.

Recommended basic settings (guideline for other FDM printers):

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 230–250 °C (start around 240 °C)
• Bed temperature: approx. 70–80 °C
• Printing speed: 30–80 mm/s depending on model character
• Cooling: medium – lower than for PLA, too strong airflow can worsen layer bonding
• Build plate: PEI smooth or textured, or glass with a suitable adhesive agent

Filament Drying

PETG generally absorbs moisture, which can increase stringing, bubbles, and a matte surface.

• If moisture is suspected, we recommend drying at ~65 °C for 6–8 hours.
• Keep the filament in a sealable box with silica gel.

Removing the Print

PETG tends to adhere strongly to PEI plates. After printing is finished:

• Let the bed cool down completely – the print often releases itself or with minimal plate bending.
• Do not force the print off at high temperatures to avoid damaging the bed surface.
