Bambu Lab PA6-CF 0.5 Kg is a technical filament made of PA6, also known as Nylon 6, reinforced with carbon fibers. In a dry environment, it offers high strength and stiffness, good heat resistance, and resistance to impacts and vibrations. It is suitable for functional parts designed to withstand mechanical stress.

Suitable Print Types

The manufacturer recommends PA6-CF especially for structural and technical applications:

• manufacturing jigs and clamps,
• mechanical and structural components,
• functional prototypes,
• parts for automotive applications.

Material Properties

• PA6, also known as Nylon 6, with carbon fibers,
• high strength and stiffness when dry,
• resistance to heat, impacts, and vibrations,
• filament diameter of 1,75 mm with a tolerance of ± 0,03 mm,
• filament weight of 0,5 kg.

What You Need for Printing

PA6-CF absorbs moisture, so dry it before printing and keep it dry during printing. Bambu Lab recommends drying it at 80 °C for 8 to 12 hours in a convection dryer.

• An enclosed printer is required.
• Use a hardened steel nozzle with a diameter of 0,4, 0,6, or 0,8 mm. The recommended diameter is 0,6 mm.
• A 0,2 mm nozzle is not compatible, and a stainless steel nozzle is not recommended.
• The filament is not compatible with AMS or AMS lite systems.

Important: Moisture can reduce the strength and stiffness of the finished print. To maintain its mechanical properties, plan to use it in a dry environment.
