Vision Encoder calibrates the XY-axis movement of Bambu Lab H2 series printers, making the dimensions of large and precisely fitting parts more accurate. Optical measurement with a resolution of 5 µm and a surface with 10 000 markers allow the printer to compensate for mechanical deviations and achieve movement accuracy under 50 µm.

Why Vision Encoder is useful

• Compensates for mechanical deviations. Calibration corrects the effects of common manufacturing deviations, belt loosening and mechanical wear.
• Maintains accuracy across the entire build area. The result does not depend on the length of the movement, which is especially beneficial for larger models.
• Helps with dimensional accuracy. It is suitable for functional parts, assemblies and prints where dimensions and mutual fit are important.

Compatibility

Designed for Bambu Lab H2D, H2S and H2C 3D printers.

How to use it

Place the Vision Encoder on the cooled and clean heated bed. Then start the movement accuracy calibration according to the printer's instructions. Calibration takes approximately 5 minutes. Once complete, remove the tool and store it.

Important: The Vision Encoder is not intended for use as a build plate. Before calibration, check that its pattern and the print head camera lens are clean. Do not place it on a hot bed.
