The original Bambu Lab Glue Stick for Build Plate is a glue stick specially designed for 3D printing. It ensures secure and uniform adhesion of the model to the build plate, which significantly reduces the risk of edge lifting, warping and failed prints. The glue is formaldehyde-free and water-soluble, so after printing you can easily remove it by simply rinsing the plate with water. It is suitable for a wide range of materials from PLA and PETG to more demanding plastics such as ABS, PC, PA (nylon) or TPU.

Usage

1. Preparing the build plate
   • Make sure the build plate is clean, degreased and dry.
   • If necessary, wash it with water and dry it with a soft cloth or paper towel.
2. Applying the glue
   • Extend the glue stick and apply a thin, even layer of glue to the area where the model will be printed.
   • For larger models, cover the entire print area with glue.
3. Printing
   • Start the print as usual. The glue will ensure better first-layer adhesion and model stability during printing.
4. After printing is complete
   • Let the build plate cool down, then carefully remove the model.
   • Wash the build plate with water to remove any glue residue, and dry it before the next print.

Tip: For more demanding materials (e.g. nylon, composites, TPU), we recommend combining the glue with a suitable print profile and, if necessary, using a brim/raft for maximum adhesion reliability.
