The Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter – H2 Series / P1 Series / X1 Series is an original Bambu Lab adapter designed for merging up to four input filaments into one output PTFE tube leading to the print head. Compared to a standard PTFE connector, it significantly expands the possibilities of working with multiple materials and spools.

The adapter is designed to allow simultaneous use of the AMS (Automatic Material System) and other external spools, including filaments that the AMS cannot handle (e.g., TPU 95A, Bambu PET-CF and other composite materials with carbon/glass fibers). Thanks to this, you can flexibly combine common and special materials without the need for constant manual reconnection of PTFE tubes.

The adapter is intended for Bambu Lab printers:

• X1 Series – e.g., X1 Carbon, X1E
• P1 Series – e.g., P1P, P1S
• H2 Series – H2D, H2S, H2C (including the 4‑in‑1 PTFE Adapter II variant and cleaning pads for the H2C)

Note: for the H2C model, the package includes the 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II variant with a different internal design and filament cleaning pads.

How the Adapter Works

1. Use with AMS

1. Connect the PTFE tube from the print head to the OUT side of the adapter.
2. From the AMS buffer, lead the PTFE tube into one of the IN ports.
3. Into the remaining IN ports, you can directly insert up to 3 filament strands (without a PTFE tube) – suitable for example for external spools of special materials.

This allows combining up to 7 different filaments (4 from the AMS + 3 external) with one tool/print head.

2. Use without AMS

1. Connect the PTFE tube from the print head to the OUT side of the adapter.
2. Into the IN ports, you can directly insert up to 4 filaments from different spools.

Important: It is necessary to follow the correct direction – OUT to the print head, IN to the filament inputs. Reversed connection can lead to clogging and incorrect feeding.
