AESUB Transparent is a professional self-evaporating spray for 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and optical metrology. It temporarily mattifies glossy, reflective, and transparent surfaces, reduces reflections, and at the same time preserves the object's color information. After approximately 4 hours, the coating evaporates on its own without the need for cleaning.
AESUB Transparent 400 ml is a special matting spray designed for the optical digitization of glossy, reflective, and transparent objects. It creates a thin and even transparent to semi-transparent mattifying layer on the surface, which suppresses unwanted light reflections and improves the surface's scanability.
Unlike standard opaque scanning sprays, it helps preserve the object's visible color information. It is therefore suitable for color 3D scanning, photogrammetry, LiDAR, photography, and other optical methods where not only geometry but also the surface texture or color is important.
The applied coating provides approximately 1–2 hours of effective scanning time. It then gradually sublimates and evaporates under normal conditions in approximately 4 hours. This eliminates the need to extensively wash or mechanically clean the object after completing the work.
The spray is free of pigments and titanium dioxide, reducing the risk of contaminating scanners, sensors, laboratories, and the working environment with pigment dust. The coating is homogeneous after drying, and reference points can be placed on it for 3D scanning.
The optimal application temperature is approximately 21 °C. The actual evaporation time depends on the temperature, air circulation, material, surface structure, and thickness of the applied layer.
AESUB Transparent is ideal for reverse engineering, dimensional inspection, digital archiving, product development, surface inspection, and the creation of color 3D models. It can be used in the automotive, mechanical engineering, aerospace, energy, and creative industries.
Warning: The aerosol contains solvents and is flammable. Compatibility with a specific material cannot be generally guaranteed, so always perform a test on an inconspicuous area first. Use only in a well-ventilated area and follow the safety instructions on the packaging.
