Turn the first layer into a design element
The Weprinty chameleon PEO/PEY build plate is designed for the
Bambu Lab A1 mini 3D printer. Two different decorative surfaces create a subtle optical pattern on the contact side of the print, with its appearance changing according to the viewing angle and incident light.
The effect is created by the surface structure of the plate, so no paint or additional material is applied to the model. It stands out best on a smooth, even first layer and with darker or glossy filaments.
Two striking surfaces in one plate

- Both sides are smooth and allow you to achieve a visually attractive underside of the model.
The plate is especially suitable for decorations, boxes, labels, stands, flat accessories, and other products in which the underside is part of the final design.
Flexible spring steel
The supporting part is made of
spring steel sheet, which attaches to the printer's magnetic base. Once cooled, the plate can be bent slightly to easily release the finished model without unnecessary prying.
The
184 × 184 mm size corresponds to the Bambu Lab A1 mini build platform and retains the printer's usable print area of 180 × 180 mm.
Usage recommendations
- Before printing, remove dust, grease, and fingerprints from the surface.
- Position the plate correctly on the magnetic base and perform automatic print surface calibration.
- Use a suitable smooth build plate profile and adjust the build plate temperature to the specific filament.
- Allow the plate to cool before removing the model.
- Release the print by carefully bending the plate; do not use sharp metal tools.
For regular maintenance, we recommend lukewarm water with dishwashing detergent and a soft sponge. After washing, dry the plate thoroughly and do not touch the printing surfaces with your fingers. With materials that have very strong adhesion, first test the settings on a smaller model to prevent damage to the decorative layer.
