QIDI Box Version 2 is an official accessory for QIDI Q2 3D printers, turning them into powerful multi-material and multicolor systems. It combines a storage and extrusion module, intelligent drying, and advanced filament monitoring. By daisy-chaining up to 4 QIDI Boxes, you get up to 16 different colors or materials in one model, automatic filament switching, reliable operation even with demanding composites (e.g., carbon fibers), and always dry filament for trouble-free printing. Version 2 fixes bugs from version 1 and adds a Riser/Collar for mounting on the printer.

• Hardened steel dual-gear drive ensures reliable feeding even for heavy and abrasive filaments.
• Automatic spool switching (auto-refill): if filament runs out on one spool, the box automatically reaches for a backup without operator intervention.
• RFID / NFC identification enables quick setup of recommended profiles for original QIDI filaments.
• Compatibility with common plastic spools – supported dimensions are width approx. 50–72 mm and diameter approx. 195–202 mm. Cardboard spools are not directly supported; an adapter is recommended for use.
