    Product Description

Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM 5 l is a highly effective cleaning agent specially developed for the post-processing of resin 3D prints. The base consists of DPM (dipropylene glycol methyl ether), which reliably dissolves uncured photopolymer resin, has low volatility, and a longer lifespan than common alcohol cleaners. The cleaner is primarily intended for SLA/DLP/MSLA 3D printers and is fully compatible with Prusament Resin and most common UV resins. Due to its lower evaporation rate, it has less odor, is less lost to evaporation, and provides more stable results during repeated use.

    Main Advantages

    • Highly effective cleaning of resin prints – effectively removes uncured photopolymer resin from the surface of the model.
    • Long bath life – low volatility means less evaporation, longer usability, and lower consumption compared to IPA.
    • Compatible with Prusa CW1S – ideal for use in the Prusa CW1S washer and dryer as well as in other washing systems or manual baths.
    • Better working comfort – compared to IPA, it has lower volatility and usually a lower odor.
    • Universal use – suitable for most standard 405nm photopolymer resins.
    • 5 l packaging – an economical package for the regular operation of workshops, laboratories, and printing services.

    Recommended Use

    1. Fill the washer tank (e.g., Prusa CW1S) with Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM cleaner.
    2. Insert the prints directly from the printer (before removing supports or after cutting them off according to your workflow).
    3. Start the washing cycle – usual time 5–15 minutes depending on the complexity and size of the model.
    4. After the cycle is complete, move the model to a second bath with water (a small amount of detergent can be added) and thoroughly rinse off any remaining cleaner.
    5. Dry the print – ideally using the CW1S drying function or compressed air.
    6. Only then perfectly cure the model in a UV chamber according to the specific resin's recommendations.
Always adapt washing, drying, and curing times to the technical data sheet of the resin used.

    Safety and Disposal

    • Read the Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before use.
    • Use protective gloves and goggles during work, prevent contact with skin, eyes, and mouth.
    • Work in a well-ventilated area.
    • Wipe up any spilled amounts immediately with paper towels.
    • Everything contaminated with both liquid resin and DPM cleaner (cleaner residues, used water, towels, gloves, etc.) must be considered hazardous waste and disposed of according to local regulations.
    • Do not pour the contaminated solution into the drain or into common municipal waste.
