The resin was developed by the Prusa Research team with an emphasis on user safety, easy processing and stable printing properties.

The Basic Resin formulation features low viscosity and short exposure times, allowing for fast printing with very fine details and sharp edges. Thanks to low shrinkage and excellent adhesion to the print platform, prints are dimensionally accurate and hold reliably during printing.

Safety and Handling

• Do not pour into waste or sewage – cure resin residues with UV light first and then dispose of them as solid waste

Printing Recommendations

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use (pigments may settle)
• Check the cleanliness of the FEP/ACF film and the print platform
• Use the profile for Prusament Basic Resin / Orange or a similar profile and fine-tune exposure times based on the result
• After printing, wash the model thoroughly in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or a recommended cleaning solution
• Finally, cure the model in a UV curing station to achieve full mechanical properties
