    Product Description

Prusament Premium PLA Mystic Brown 1kg (NFC) is a premium PLA filament manufactured directly by Prusa Research. The Mystic series is characterized by a mystic, multi-colored effect that changes depending on the light angle and viewing direction – it creates subtle polychromatic stripes and metallic reflections on the model. The Mystic Brown shade combines a warm brown color with a distinct shimmer, making it excellent for decorative and functional printing.

Prusament PLA is known for top-tier consistency in diameter and color. The filament is manufactured with a guaranteed precision of ±0.02 mm, ensuring stable material flow, minimum nozzle clogging, and a very smooth print surface. Thanks to the integrated NFC chip, coil parameters (material type, color, remaining quantity, etc.) can be easily read on supported Original Prusa printers.

PLA is generally an easy-to-print material suitable even for beginners – it does not require a closed chamber, prints at relatively low temperatures, and has minimal deformation (warping). Furthermore, Mystic PLA allows you to influence the resulting visual effect:

    • Nozzle temperature 210–230 °C – higher temperature = more pronounced surface gloss
    • Layer height – higher layers (≈0.3 mm and more) provide a richer, more "vivid" color and emphasize the mystic effect
    • Viewing angle – multi-colored stripes "flow" over the model's surface as the angle changes

    Features and Benefits

    • Premium PLA filament from Prusa Research's own production – full control over material quality
    • Mystic Brown effect – attractive shimmering appearance with polychromatic stripes
    • Very precise filament diameter ±0.02 mm – stable extrusion and smooth surfaces
    • Integrated NFC chip (NFC) – easy coil identification on compatible Original Prusa printers
    • Easy printing even for beginners – low setting requirements, no closed chamber
    • Low warping – suitable for larger models and fine details
    • Universal use – decorations, figurines, models, rapid prototypes

    Recommended Use

Prusament Premium PLA Mystic Brown is particularly suitable for:

    • design and decorative models, vases, statues, interior accessories
    • figurines, miniatures, and collectible models with an emphasis on attractive appearance
    • prototypes and conceptual models where visual impression is key
    • stylish bodies and covers for electronics, PC accessories, cosplay elements

Due to the limited temperature resistance of PLA (approx. up to 55–60 °C), it is not recommended for parts exposed to high temperatures (e.g., in a car in direct sunlight) or long-term outdoor environments.

    Printing Recommendations

    Basic print settings (indicative):

    • Nozzle temperature: approx. 215 °C (recommended middle of the 210–230 °C range for Mystic PLA)
    • Heatbed temperature: 50–60 °C
    • Recommended surface: smooth / textured / satin PEI steel sheet
    • Cooling: 100% part cooling fan (standard for PLA)

For the best appearance, we recommend:

    • try different layer heights (0.15–0.3+ mm) and observe the change in effect
    • print with a well-calibrated Z-offset for a perfect first layer
    • for larger parts, use a brim/raft only if necessary – Mystic PLA has low tendencies to deform

    Warnings and Filament Care

    • PLA filament is slightly hygroscopic – for best results, store the spool in a dry place (sealable box, silica gel).
    • Before printing, check and if necessary clean the print surface (isopropyl alcohol, according to the printer manufacturer's recommendations).
    • For gluing PLA parts, cyanoacrylate glues (super glues) can be used.

    Summary

Prusament Premium PLA Mystic Brown 1kg (NFC) is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to combine the reliability and simplicity of PLA printing with the exceptional, premium look of the mystic brown effect. Thanks to precise manufacturing, an NFC chip, and optimized printing parameters, it offers professional results in both home and professional environments.
