Instead of disposing of production scraps and test samples, the materials are reprocessed, carefully compressed, and extruded into a new batch of filament. The result is a greener choice with parameters matching standard Prusament.

Printing properties

Prusament PLA Recycled behaves very similarly to standard Prusament PLA:

• Low heat resistance: recommended for indoor use; softening of parts may occur at temperatures above approx. 55–60 °C.
• Odorless during printing: suitable for home and office environments.

Recommended print settings

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer, nozzle, and ambient conditions. The ranges below are based on recommendations for Prusament PLA.

• Bed temperature: approx. 50–60 °C
• Bed: PEI, powdered PEI, glass with glue or other common surfaces for PLA
• Part cooling: 100% (strong fan for best details)
