Smooth PEI print sheet for 3D printers
Double-sided spring steel print sheet with a smooth PEI (polyetherimide) surface. Provides good adhesion for most common 3D printing materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, etc. Advantages of a smooth PEI surface:
– Smooth and glossy bottom surface of prints
– Good adhesion even for prints with a small contact area
– Ideal for printing with PLA
– Easy removal of finished prints after cooling
– Can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol
The print sheet is magnetic and easily removable. It allows flexible bending for easy removal of finished prints. Before printing, it is recommended to clean the sheet with isopropyl alcohol to ensure optimal adhesion.
Magnets are embedded in the heated bed; these magnets are more than capable of firmly holding the removable sheets during printing.
These magnets can securely hold removable spring steel print sheets. The smooth PEI print sheet excels with excellent adhesion for PLA prints and is suitable for almost all other materials. The smooth sheet leaves a very smooth and glossy finish on the bottom of your prints.
Minor marks from nozzles or tools may appear on the print surface and will usually be shinier than the rest of the sheet. This does not affect functionality or adhesion. However, if you want the same surface appearance across the entire print sheet, you can refinish it. The easiest way is to take the abrasive side of a dry kitchen sponge and gently rub the affected area several times in a circular motion.
