Prusa Lubrication Set XL is an original service set for lubricating the linear rails of the Original Prusa XL 3D printer. It enables precise application of suitable lubricant into the lubrication holes of the carriages and helps maintain smooth movement of the printing mechanism during long-term operation.
The set includes 20 g of special Microlube GL 261 lubricant, a dispensing cartridge with a manual plunger, an application needle, and two nitrile gloves. Everything you need for clean, controlled, and precise lubrication of the linear guidance is included.
Regular maintenance reduces friction and wear of moving parts. It helps maintain smooth axis operation, low noise, and consistent movement of the print head. The manufacturer recommends lubricating the linear rails approximately every 3 to 6 months, with the appropriate interval depending on the intensity of use and the printer's operating environment.

The dispensing needle allows a small amount of lubricant to be applied directly into the appropriate holes of the linear carriages. The manual plunger provides good control over dispensing, helping to prevent unnecessary over-lubrication and contamination of the surrounding printer components.
Important: The set is intended for linear rails. Do not use standard Prusa Lubricant or other products not intended for this purpose on the linear guidance. The Microlube GL 261 lubricant from this set is not intended for lubricating the trapezoidal lead screws of the Z-axis. Always follow the service manual for the specific printer model during maintenance.
