    Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) – Kit

Build your own enclosed 3D printer and get to know it down to the last screw. Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) combines a sturdy all-metal construction, fast CoreXY kinematics, and a precise Nextruder with the benefits of a compact enclosed chamber. The kit contains all necessary parts, tools, and detailed assembly instructions.

Once completed, you will have a fully functional printer with the same features as the assembled version. It is suitable for home workshops, prototype development, schools, and professional production of small series.

    What the second generation offers

Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) retains the proven CORE One platform and adds practical improvements for higher-quality surfaces, cleaner print starts, and easier everyday use:

    • New GT1.5 belts help reduce the visibility of fine repeating patterns on smooth walls.
    • Integrated nozzle wiper removes filament residue before printing and reduces the risk of contaminants getting onto the build surface.
    • Redesigned heated bed mounting shortens the wait for thermal stabilization, especially at bed temperatures up to 85 °C.
    • The improved platform is ready for further software and hardware updates.

    Fast and precise CoreXY kinematics

During movement along the X and Y axes, the motors remain fixed to the frame while the lightweight print head moves. This design enables travel speeds of up to 600 mm/s while maintaining high precision. Input Shaper technology reduces vibrations and ghosting, while PhaseStepping contributes to smoother and quieter motor operation.

The 250 × 220 × 270 mm build volume provides approximately 15 liters of usable space, while the printer retains a compact footprint.

Enclosed chamber for a wide range of materials

The enclosed construction with active temperature control creates a stable environment for printing technical filaments. The chamber reaches temperatures of up to 55 °C, and smart ventilation adjusts the airflow to the material being used. This makes it possible to print low-temperature materials such as PLA with the doors closed.

    CORE One+ supports, for example:

    • PLA, PETG, PVB, and CPE,
    • flexible filaments,
    • PC and PP,
    • PVA support material,
    • advanced materials such as ABS, ASA, HIPS, and PA with suitable equipment and filtration.

Precise Nextruder with automatic first-layer calibration

The Direct Drive Nextruder uses a planetary gearbox with a 10:1 ratio and a precise Load Cell sensor. The nozzle also functions as a measuring probe, allowing the printer to automatically measure the build surface and set the correct first-layer height without manual adjustment.

Included is a high-flow brass Prusa Nozzle CHT 0,4 mm, an all-metal hotend, and powerful 360° print cooling. The Quick-Swap system makes nozzle replacement easy, and an adapter also allows the use of E3D V6 standard nozzles.

    Ready for multi-material printing

The printer can be expanded later according to your needs. It supports MMU3 for printing with up to five filaments and is also compatible with the INDX system for up to eight materials or colors. An internal Buddy3D camera, HEPA filtration, an advanced filtration system, and other accessories can be added optionally.

    Connectivity without a mandatory cloud

The model supports printing via a USB drive, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. Using Prusa Connect services and the Prusa mobile app, you can send files and monitor prints remotely. However, an internet connection is not required—the printer can also be operated locally and completely offline.

    Why choose the kit

    • Gain a detailed understanding of the printer’s construction and operating principles.
    • Acquire practical experience useful for maintenance and future upgrades.
    • Assembly is made easier by the detailed illustrated manual and included tool kit.
    • Once assembled, you get the same printing capabilities as with the factory-assembled version.
    • The modular construction enables repairs, modifications, and further expansion.
