Professional Lab ASA-GF Black 1 kg is a technical filament based on ASA, reinforced with glass fibers (GF). It offers high rigidity, dimensional stability, and excellent resistance to UV radiation and weathering, making it an excellent choice for outdoor and functional parts.

Compared with standard ASA, ASA-GF provides significantly better rigidity, less thermal deformation, and higher resistance to creep and flexing. The black coloration and slightly matte surface give prints a professional technical appearance suitable for end-use applications.

Printing Recommendations

Specific values may vary slightly depending on the printer and settings; we always recommend performing your own profile calibration.

• Nozzle temperature: approx. 235–260 °C (start at approx. 245–250 °C)
• Bed temperature: approx. 90–110 °C
• Print speed: typically 40–80 mm/s (40–60 mm/s for the best quality)
• Recommended:
  • Enclosed print chamber to limit drafts and maintain a stable temperature
  • Bed adhesive (PEI, glue stick, spray) for more reliable adhesion
  • Increased brim/raft for larger parts

For glass fiber-filled materials, it is advisable to use a more wear-resistant nozzle (made of hardened steel or another abrasion-resistant alloy), because the filler wears the nozzle more quickly than standard PLA/PETG.
