Revopoint MetroX Pro Advanced – professional 3D scanner with metrological accuracy
Revopoint MetroX Pro takes desktop and handheld scanning to a new level: it combines multi-line blue laser and full-field structured blue light in one device, so it can handle both detailed technical parts and complex, less structured, or shiny surfaces. It offers four scanning modes (Cross Lines, Parallel Lines, Full-field, Auto Turntable), so you always choose the optimal method for the given object and workflow.
Metrological accuracy and speed
- Single-frame precision up to 0.01 mm and single-frame accuracy up to 0.02 mm.
- Volumetric accuracy: 0.025 mm + 0.05 mm × L(m).
- Scanning speed up to 7,000,000 points/s in full-field mode and up to 800,000 points/s in multi-line laser mode.
Excellent results even on challenging surfaces
- In Cross Lines mode, the MetroX Pro can quickly capture even dark or shiny surfaces without the need for matting spray.
- In Full-field and Auto Turntable modes, for transparent, black, or highly shiny surfaces, the use of scanning spray is recommended for the best result.
Flexible working distance and field of view
- Working distance 200–400 mm.
- Single-shot area: 160 × 70 mm (at 200 mm) to 320 × 215 mm (at 400 mm).
- Minimum scanning volume 10 × 10 × 10 mm; maximum 1 × 1 × 1 m.
Revo Scan 5 MetroX covers the complete workflow – from point cloud creation through fusion and meshing to editing, merging, and exporting. It supports PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX formats, so you can easily continue in CAD/CAM and inspection tools.
Ready for colors and automation
- HD RGB camera for faithful textures when scanning in Auto Turntable mode.
- Three tracking modes: Feature, Marker, and Global Marker.
- The Advanced version adds a Marker Block Kit for significantly faster scanning preparation without markers on less structured objects.
Performance and compatibility
- GPU acceleration up to 60 FPS; compatible with NVIDIA RTX 30/40 (Windows).
- Support for Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 11+.
- Control directly on the scanner using 4 buttons.
Safety and use
MetroX Pro uses a Class 2M laser (follow safety instructions) and is intended for indoor use. Thanks to its accuracy, speed, and universal modes, it is great for reverse engineering, quality control, spare parts creation, model digitalization for 3D printing, and archiving objects in museums and design studios.
Who is MetroX ideal for
- Manufacturing companies and machine shops (measurement and QC)
- Engineering and design studios (scan-to-CAD)
- 3D printers and rapid prototyping
- Service and maintenance (part reverse engineering)
- Education, research, and museums
