How the FIREXBALL Fire Extinguisher Ball works
- The ball is placed in the included bracket (on the wall, under the ceiling, or above a high-risk location – switchboards, machines, boilers, etc.).
- Upon contact with an open flame or reaching a critical temperature (approx. 110 °C), activation occurs within 3–10 seconds.
- The triggering of the initiator is accompanied by a loud acoustic signal (approx. 120 dB), which also functions as an acoustic fire alarm.
- The protective casing of the ball bursts, and fine FUREX 770 extinguishing powder is dispersed into the space, effectively suppressing the fire.
The ball can also be used
actively – if the user notices a fire, they can simply
throw or roll it into the focus of the fire without having to approach a dangerous distance.
