ELEGOO Standard Resin 2.0 Black is a universal photopolymer resin designed for everyday printing of detailed models on resin 3D printers. The optimized formula reduces unwanted curing of surrounding resin, helping to create sharp edges, clear textures, and a smooth surface.

Low shrinkage and stable results

Low volumetric shrinkage during curing helps preserve the model's dimensions and reduces the risk of deformation or cracking after cleaning and final curing. The resin is suitable for miniatures, figurines, decorations, prototypes, and standard technical parts without increased toughness requirements.

Good flowability for reliable printing

The resin flows easily between the model and the release film. This supports uniform layer formation, reliable separation of the print from the film, and stable results across the build plate. Thanks to its easy processing, it is also suitable for beginners using resin 3D printers.

Wide compatibility

The resin cures under UV light with a wavelength of 405 nm and is compatible with most LCD, MSLA, and DLP 3D printers. It is ideally suited for ELEGOO Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter printers, but can also be used in compatible devices from other manufacturers.

Print cleaning and finishing

Uncured resin residue is removed from the model using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. After washing and thorough drying, the print must be finally cured under UV light. Always adjust the exact exposure time to the specific printer, layer height, and operating conditions.

Recommended procedure

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
2. Pour the resin into the printer's clean vat.
3. Perform a calibration print and set the correct exposure.
4. Wash the finished model in isopropyl alcohol or ethanol.
5. After drying, finally cure the model under UV light.

Safety warning: Uncured photopolymer resin must not come into contact with skin or eyes. Wear nitrile gloves and protective eyewear, and work in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and do not pour uncured resin into waste or drains.
