PEI Printing Surface

A reliable build plate with a standard PEI surface designed for ELEGOO Centauri series 3D printers. The PEI surface provides good first-layer adhesion during printing while also allowing easy removal of the finished model after cooling.

The plate is made of spring steel and attaches magnetically to the printer's heated bed. Once printing is complete, simply remove it and gently flex it to easily release the print without unnecessary prying with a spatula.

Reliable PEI Surface

PEI is one of the proven printing surfaces for FDM 3D printing. It provides good first-layer adhesion and helps reduce corner lifting and model warping during printing.

The plate is suitable for common filaments used on Centauri series printers. For the best results, we always recommend setting the bed temperature according to the material being used.

Easy Installation

The spring steel plate is simply placed on the printer's magnetic base. No complicated assembly or tools are required.

The magnetic attachment keeps the plate securely in place throughout the print while also allowing for quick removal.

Easier Model Removal

Once printing is complete, let the plate cool down, remove it from the printer, and gently flex it. The print will generally release easily, reducing the risk of damage to both the model and the printing surface itself.

Usage Recommendations

• Before printing, select the appropriate PEI plate type in the printer or slicer.

• Keep the PEI surface clean and avoid touching the printing surface with greasy fingers.

• After installing a new plate, check the first layer and, if necessary, run automatic calibration.

• Allow both the plate and the print to cool down before removing the model.

• Use a bed temperature appropriate for the filament being used.

• Clean the surface regularly to maintain good adhesion.
