The Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus is an enlarged Neptune 3 Pro with a build volume of 320x320x400 mm. The features remain the same as the Pro model, it has just grown to massive dimensions. So let’s recap below what both printers include:

The Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus is an FDM 3D printer that offers great value for its price. It is equipped with automatic bed leveling using a magnetic sensor, which means the printer sets the bed height itself for optimal printing. This process takes just a moment before each print, freeing you from the need to adjust the PEI build plate. The advantage of the integrated magnetic sensor is that it saves space around the print head, allowing dual-sided cooling (fans on both sides). The magnetic sensor is also faster than the standard semi-mechanical add-on probes used on Ender model printers. The build plate is magnetically attached, so there’s no need to fix it with clips. The maximum PEI bed temperature is 100 °C and the nozzle 280 °C. Thanks to the 250W output, these temperatures are reached very quickly.

The printer also includes a filament sensor that monitors whether the filament is jammed or has run out. If that happens, the printer automatically pauses the print and alerts the user. This feature helps prevent printer damage and unnecessary filament waste. It also supports resuming a print after a power outage.

The Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus is also very quiet thanks to its stepper motors and 32-bit STM mainboard. This means the printer is ideal for office or home use without disturbing others. The manufacturer states a noise level of around 50 dBA during printing.

Assembly is easy and takes only a few minutes. The printer arrives with 95% of the electrical cables already connected, so there’s no need to worry about a complicated installation. In the Plus model’s frame, LED lighting for the build area is already installed.

The printer’s display is a 4.3-inch full touchscreen. It attaches magnetically, so once detached you can operate it freely around the printer. The display interface also lets you preview your 3D model before printing.

The build volume is 320 x 320 x 400 mm, which means most models can be printed. The printer can handle various filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG, and filled types (e.g., wood, marble, etc.). The print head moves on a dual Z-axis, ensuring even greater print accuracy.
