    Precise hotend temperature measurement

The ELEGOO Hotend Thermistor NTC 100K is an original replacement temperature sensor designed for the ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga 3D printer. It continuously measures the temperature of the heater block and sends the measured values to the printer's control electronics. Based on these values, the electronics regulate the hotend heating and maintain the set temperature throughout the print.

Stable temperature for high-quality 3D printing

A properly functioning thermistor is essential for consistent filament extrusion, stable material flow, and protection of the hotend against overheating. This NTC 100K thermistor supports an operating hotend temperature of up to 300 °C on the OrangeStorm Giga.

    Direct compatibility with OrangeStorm Giga

The sensor is designed specifically for the print head of the ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga. The matching wiring and connector enable connection to the TH1 port on the print head adapter board without modifying the firmware or electronics.

When should the thermistor be replaced?

Replacement is particularly recommended in the following cases:

    • unstable or fluctuating temperature readings,
    • hotend heating errors,
    • broken or mechanically damaged cable,
    • sensor damage during heater block cleaning,
    • unusual temperature fluctuations during printing.

    Installation recommendations

Before replacing the thermistor, turn off the printer, disconnect it from the power supply, and allow the hotend to cool completely. Handle the thermistor's fine wires carefully and, after installation, check that the cable is routed correctly and that the measured temperature is stable. The product is intended for the hotend, not as a replacement sensor for the heated bed.
