Product Description
E3D Revo High-Temperature Abrasive nozzle 0.4 mm is a premium nozzle for the E3D RapidChange Revo system, designed for demanding users who need to reliably print abrasive and high-temperature materials. Thanks to a combination of a copper core for excellent heat transfer and a hard protective Chromium Nitride coating, the nozzle handles long-term operation at high temperatures up to 500 °C without significant wear.
Like other Revo nozzles, this one is supplied as a compact, pre-assembled nozzle + heatbreak unit, which significantly simplifies assembly, eliminates the risk of leaks, and removes the need for hot tightening. Simply unscrew the nozzle while cold and replace it with another – the swap takes only a few dozen seconds.
Note: When used with standard 40W/60W HeaterCore, the nozzle is temperature-limited to approximately 300 °C. To take full advantage up to 500 °C, it is recommended to use the Revo High Temperature Hotside kit.

Main Advantages
- Designed for Abrasive Materials\nIdeal for filaments filled with carbon and glass fibers, metallic and glow-in-the-dark materials, or other highly abrasive mixtures where standard brass nozzles wear out quickly.
- High-Temperature Construction up to 500 °C\nConstruction from a copper body and special surface treatment allows for printing technical plastics such as PEI, PEKK, PEEK, and other high-temperature materials (depending on the rest of the hotend).
- Chromium Nitride Coating\nHard, smooth coating for high abrasion resistance, reduced plastic adhesion to the nozzle surface, and better surface quality of prints.
- Pre-assembled Revo Unit\nThe nozzle is supplied as a complete nozzle + heatbreak, eliminating the risk of incorrect tightening and hotend leaking. Nozzle replacement is fast, safe, and can be performed while cold.
- Compatibility with E3D Revo Ecosystem\nFully compatible with Revo Micro, Revo Six, Revo Voron, Revo CR, Revo Hemera XS, Revo Prusa MK3, Revo Prusa Mini, Revo MicroSwiss NG, Revo Biqu H2 V2 hotends and others using RapidChange Revo nozzles.
- Nozzle Diameter 0.4 mm – Universal Choice\nThe most used nozzle size, offering a good compromise between speed and detail. Suitable for prototyping, functional parts, and visual models.
Recommended Use
This nozzle is particularly suitable for:
- Abrasive Composite Materials\n
- PLA/ABS/PETG with carbon fibers (CF)
- PLA/PETG with fine glass filler (GF)
- Metallic and ceramic filled filaments
- Glow-in-the-dark and other pigmented abrasive materials
- High-Temperature Technical Polymers (in combination with a suitable hotend and heating elements):\n
- PC, PA, PA-CF, ASA, PEI, and other high‑temp materials.
Thanks to its high wear resistance, it is ideal for long-term serial printing of technical and functional parts, jigs, brackets, and components exposed to mechanical stress.
