    Product Description

Biqu round digital hygrometer and thermometer is a practical accessory for everyone who wants to keep filament humidity and temperature, as well as the printing environment, under control. Thanks to its compact construction and circular shape (∅ approx. 45 mm), it is easily integrated into 3D printed drying boxes, dryboxes, or enclosed cabinets for 3D printers. On the clear LCD display, it shows current relative humidity and temperature, so you immediately see if the conditions are suitable for storing sensitive materials such as PA, PA-CF, TPU, or PVA.

    Main Advantages

    • Optimal Filament Storage – monitors humidity in the drybox or drying box, helping to prevent bubbles, stringing, and poor layer adhesion.
    • Compact Round Design – ideal for mounting into 3D printed holders, desiccant boxes, and accessories for AMS or other filament systems.
    • Digital LCD Display – clear display of humidity and temperature even from a distance.
    • Fast Response – measurement updates approximately every 10 seconds for an accurate overview of the environment.
    • Humidity Measurement 20–90 % RH – suitable for checking both normal and dried environments in the box.
    • Temperature Measurement -50 to 70 °C – covers the standard range of room and slightly elevated temperatures in enclosed chambers.
    • Low Power Consumption – powered by a common button cell battery type LR44 (1,5 V).

    Use in 3D Printing

    • Drybox for Filaments – mounting into the lid or wall of the box, immediately see the humidity inside.
    • Drying Boxes and DIY Solutions – ideal for combination with silica gel/desiccant.
    • Enclosure for 3D Printer – monitoring conditions in the print chamber when printing from ABS, ASA, PC, etc.
    • Storage Containers – humidity control for long-term stored spools.

Why Have a Hygrometer with Filaments

Filaments, especially nylon, PETG, flexible materials, and technical plastics, easily absorb moisture from the air. This then manifests during printing as:
    • popping and bubbles on the surface,
    • increased stringing,
    • poorer layer bonding,
    • change in dimensional accuracy.
By using a drybox with silica gel and a Biqu round hygrometer, you always have an overview of when it's time to dry or replace the desiccant and when the conditions for printing are ideal.
