Brass bi-metal high-flow nozzle with M6 thread suitable for printing 1.75 mm filament. A cheaper yet equally capable alternative to Bondtech CHT.

The nozzle is the part of the print head (extruder) that determines how detailed your print will be. Using a nozzle with a smaller orifice achieves finer prints, but significantly increases overall print time. The most commonly used nozzle diameter is 0.4 mm.

Brass nozzles have excellent thermal conductivity and good mechanical properties, making them suitable for most thermoplastic materials (ABS, PLA, ASA, PET, PC, Nylon, ...). Only when using more abrasive materials (filament with metallic fibers, glitter, metal-filled materials, etc.) do we recommend using a steel nozzle.

After screwing the nozzle onto the hotend, we recommend heating the print head to operating temperature (approximately 230 °C) and tightening the nozzle while hot to prevent leaks.

The nozzle is suitable, for example, for printers with an E3DV6 hotend such as the Prusa i3, which use an M6 thread for the nozzle.
