The double-sided Textured PEI Plate Bambu Lab (FAP033) is an original flexible printing plate designed for 3D printers Bambu Lab P2 / X2 / X1 / P1 / A1. The surface is made of powder-coated PEI on a flexible stainless steel plate, which ensures excellent adhesion of the first layers and a matte, uniform surface on the bottom side of the print.

Thanks to the flexible steel, the plate can be easily bent after cooling and the model can be effortlessly removed without using a spatula, thereby minimizing the risk of damage to the print and the plate.

Recommended Use and Materials

The textured PEI plate is a universal choice for everyday printing:

• PLA / PLA Tough / PLA-CF – reliable adhesion, usually no glue is needed.
• PETG / PET / PETG-CF – excellent grip, occasional use of a separation layer (e.g. glue) is recommended for easier removal and PEI protection.
• TPU / flexible materials – good adhesion with correct first layer height.
• ABS / ASA – suitable in combination with a closed printer and recommended bed temperatures.

For optimal results, always fine-tune the first layer height (first layer / Z-offset) and follow the recommended bed temperatures for the specific filament.

Maintenance Instructions

• Cleaning: After cooling, clean the plate with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use sharp tools to remove prints – bending the plate is enough for removal.
• Protect the surface from grease – fingerprints can worsen adhesion, regular degreasing is recommended.
• Do not overheat above recommended temperatures to avoid degradation of the PEI layer.
