PLA Matte VS PLA Silk
Bambu PLA Silk is ideal for decorations, art projects, and 3D character models or any parts where you want a glossier finish.
Compared to regular PLA Silk, Bambu PLA Silk is reinforced and shows greater resistance to breakage when using AMS printing.
The perceived gloss of models printed with Silk material can be controlled by print temperature and speed. Higher print temperatures and/or lower speeds are recommended to achieve glossier surfaces.
Recommended settings: Nozzle temperature: 230 - 240 °C, external wall speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
All printing parameters are embedded in the RFID, which can be read via our AMS (Automatic Material System).
