H2C Induction Hotend – spare / additional hotend for Bambu Lab H2C

The induction hotend for the Bambu Lab H2C 3D printer is a specially designed module with integrated induction heating and electronics, which is part of the Vortek Hotend Change System. This system enables fast automatic exchange of up to 6 hotends on the right side of the printer and one fixed hotend on the left. Thanks to induction heating, the hotend can reach printing temperature within several seconds, which minimizes downtime between nozzle changes and significantly shortens print time for multi-material jobs.

---

Key features

• Original hotend for Bambu Lab H2C – fully compatible with the Vortek system and the printer electronics.
• Induction nozzle heating – extremely fast temperature ramp-up (on the order of a few seconds) for efficient multi‑material printing.
• Designed for automatic exchange – robust construction designed for frequent docking cycles and hotend changes.
• Stable and precise temperature control – consistent results even for long prints and technical materials.
• Possibility to dedicate the hotend to a specific material – ideal, for example, for abrasive or demanding engineering filaments.
• Wireless data transmission within the H2C system – communication between hotend and printer without the need for a classic cable bundle.
• Suitable as a spare part or expansion – for users who want to use more hotends in the Vortek magazine.

---

Recommended use

• Spare hotend – in case of damage or wear of the original hotend in the H2C system.
• Expanding the number of hotends – if you want to use more material combinations (e.g. a dedicated hotend for PLA, PETG, PA, composites, etc.).
• Multi-color and multi-material printing – in combination with AMS 2 Pro / AMS HT and the Vortek system to minimize waste.

---

Benefits for users

• Higher reliability – having a spare hotend in stock means less downtime in intensive operation.
• Cleaner filament path – dedicating a specific hotend to a specific material reduces the risk of cross-contamination.
• Better print quality – fast heating and precise temperature control help achieve smooth surfaces and sharp details.
• Preparedness for future projects – easy hotend replacement as needed according to material or job type.

Technical parameters

Warning: Specific values (max. temperature, recommended materials, etc.) may vary depending on the particular hotend variant supplied by the manufacturer. Always check the official Bambu Lab H2C documentation before use.

• Printer compatibility: Bambu Lab H2C
• Type of heating: induction
• Purpose: part of the Vortek Hotend Change System
• Number of positions in the system: up to 6 exchangeable hotends on the right side + 1 fixed hotend on the left (within the H2C printer)
• Exchange method: automatic exchange in the Vortek docking station
• Communication: wireless data transmission between hotend and printer (within the H2C system)
• Typical use: multi-material, multi-color printing, dedicated to individual filaments

---

Compatibility and installation

• The hotend is intended exclusively for Bambu Lab H2C – it is not compatible with other printer models.
• Installation is carried out by inserting the hotend into the appropriate Vortek position according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Before installation we recommend:
  • turning off and cooling down the printer,
  • checking the cleanliness of the docking station,
  • assigning the hotend in the printer interface to a specific material (if you want it to be dedicated).
