Bambu Lab External Exhaust Fan Kit P2S (Rear Panel + Fan) – FAF025, FAS071‑V2 is an original accessory kit designed exclusively for the Bambu Lab P2S 3D printer. It expands the standard internal recirculation system of the P2S with active external fume extraction from the print chamber.

By default, the P2S uses internal air circulation through a carbon filter inside the chamber. The Exhaust Fan Kit adds a separate exhaust fan at the back of the printer and a modified rear panel that allows directing air out of the room – for example, via a hose to a window or into an existing ventilation system.

After installation, the P2S gains new functions within the firmware, including an automatic air purification mode after printing and the ability to control extraction intensity during printing according to the material type.

Note: Hoses/ducts or external filtration are usually not included in the kit and are purchased separately.

Installation

• Installation takes place on the back of the Bambu Lab P2S printer.
• The original rear panel must be removed (unless you already have a newer panel with holes) and replaced with the panel from the kit.
• The fan is screwed into the prepared holes and plugged into the appropriate connector inside the printer.
• After installation and firmware update (if necessary), external extraction and automatic air purification settings will appear in the P2S menu.

It is recommended to follow the official Bambu Lab assembly instructions and perform the installation on a switched-off and unplugged printer.
