Bambu Lab A2L
The A2L is the large-format A Series printer: a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume, a PMSM servo extruder, adaptive vibration compensation and a mounting point for the blade cutting and pen drawing modules.
Large models in one piece, or a whole batch in one run.
AMS lite, or up to 4 second-generation AMS units for up to 19 colours.
Bed levelling, Z offset and flow dynamics without manual tuning.
Blade cutting and pen drawing on the same machine.
Over 2 million models ready to print in one click.
Detects nozzle clumping, filament grinding, tangles and air printing.
Oversized build volume
At 330 × 320 × 325 mm the A2L has 105 % more space than 256 mm class printers. A full-size helmet prints in one piece and 40 fidget toys fit in a single run, with no splitting of models and no glued seams.
Modular add-ons
Swap the toolhead cover for the cutting module and the A2L cuts stickers, vinyl, leather, fabric and paper up to 0.5 mm thick. The pen module turns it into a drawing plotter. Both are part of the Blade Cutting Upgrade Kit.
Bambu Handy uses your phone camera to align the cut with the material on the mat.
Custom stickers and livery for models, cut in a 300 × 300 mm area.
Pens from 10.5 to 12.5 mm draw on a 300 × 255 mm area.
Engineered for stability
As a model grows taller and heavier, the way the machine vibrates changes. The A2L retunes its resonance model layer by layer from a calibration matrix of toolhead position and bed load, so the last layer comes out as clean as the first.
Two sealed chambers filled with fine particles sit in the gantry and dissipate vibration through micro-collisions. Ripples and ghosting stay off the surface even at full build height.
Automatic Material System
AMS lite has gone through long, colour-heavy prints for over a million users worldwide. It swaps filament reliably print after print, so a single bad change does not ruin twelve hours of work.
The AMS lite is included with the A2L Combo.
The AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT keep filament in a sealed, dry enclosure and dry it before printing. AMS lite and the second-generation AMS share the same buffer system, so you can combine them and run several materials side by side.
Intelligent print monitoring
Sensors along the extrusion path and the PMSM extruder feed an algorithm trained by Bambu Lab. When it detects a problem, the A2L pauses and Bambu Handy guides you through the fix.
A dedicated switch detects filament build-up on the nozzle by physical contact.
The servo extruder registers grinding and feeding anomalies as they happen.
A clogged nozzle or run-out filament is detected before hours of printing are lost.
Auto flow dynamics calibration
Before every print the A2L measures how filament flows through the current nozzle with the current spool and builds a nonlinear model of the whole extrusion path. Nozzle wear, filament moisture and a new spool are accounted for before the first layer.
UL GREENGUARD certified
The A2L is certified to UL 2904 for indoor air quality during 3D printing with official filaments. Tests with Bambu PLA Basic, PLA Pure and PETG Basic confirmed very low emissions, so the printer is safe for indoor use.
Engineered for silence
Active motor noise cancellation, precision linear rails and intelligent fan control keep the A2L at 49 dB in silent mode, as quiet as a library. In standard mode it peaks at about 52 dB.
Connectivity and privacy
Use Bambu Cloud for access from any device, or switch to LAN-only mode and keep everything on your local network. Prints can also run from the microSD card.

Besides 105 % more build volume, it adds a PMSM closed-loop servo extruder, adaptive vibration compensation with multi-point calibration and load adaptation, two granular dampers in the frame, a mounting point for the blade cutting module and a physical nozzle clumping detector.
PLA, PETG, TPU and PVA. PLA-CF and PETG-CF need a hardened steel nozzle, because the pre-installed nozzle is stainless steel. The A2L is an open-frame printer and is not intended for engineering filaments such as ABS or ASA.
The bed is much larger than on the A1, and higher temperatures would draw excessive power from home circuits. 80 °C covers PLA and PETG, the filaments the open-frame A2L is designed for.
Up to 4 box-style AMS units and 1 AMS lite in series, for up to 19 colours. Connecting a box-style AMS uses one buffer path, so one AMS lite slot becomes unavailable.
Yes. Drying in the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT requires connecting the unit to its own power supply.
The Blade Cutting Upgrade Kit with the cutting module, pen module, cutting mat and accessories. The A2L does not support laser modules because of its open-frame design.
The A2L has no BirdsEye camera, so it cannot do the automatic Live Spatial Alignment of the H2 Laser versions. Alignment uses your smartphone camera in Bambu Handy instead. Print-then-Cut is in development and may arrive in a firmware update.
Below 49 dB in silent mode and about 52 dB at peak in standard mode, according to Bambu Lab internal testing.
