Overview: The hotend fan is used for cooling and lowering the temperature of the ceramic heater. It offers an automatic shutdown function in case of blockage at the nominal voltage for 1-3 seconds. After blockage, the circuit will attempt to restart within 2 to 6 seconds. After 72 hours of blockage no damage occurs.
