The wireless Alveo3D Smart Smoke Detector is a safety kit for 3D printers, closed printing chambers, and other electrical devices. The set combines the A500 photoelectric smoke detector and the ES9938 radio-controlled type E socket.

When smoke is detected, the detector triggers a loud alarm and wirelessly sends a signal to the connected socket. This subsequently disconnects the power supply to the connected 3D printer or device, helping to quickly reduce the risk of fire from an electrical fault.
