Product Description

Alternative Snapmaker U1 Hotend kit – 0,2 mm is a replacement complete hotend including all necessary equipment for the Snapmaker U1 3D printer, designed for exceptionally detailed printing. It is based on the construction of the original hotend for U1 – the heatsink, heatbreak, heating element and nozzle form one unit, which minimizes melt leakage and ensures stable temperature throughout the filament length.

The kit also includes thermistor, heating element (heater), thermal grease and silicone sock, so you get a fully prepared hotend that can be mounted directly into the print head after unpacking.

The nozzle with a small diameter of 0,2 mm allows printing of very fine details, thin walls and small models with high surface quality. The hotend is designed for filaments with a diameter of 1,75 mm and a maximum temperature of up to 300 °C, making it suitable for most common materials supported by the Snapmaker U1 printer.

Note: On the Snapmaker U1, it is not possible to change only the nozzle separately – the hotend is always changed as a complete unit.

Applications

This hotend with a 0,2 mm nozzle is particularly suitable for:

A smaller nozzle usually means longer print times, but significantly better resolution and sharper details.

Technical Specifications

Printing Recommendations

• Use lower print speeds than with a 0,4 mm nozzle to ensure smooth material flow.
• Pay attention to filament cleanliness (dust filter) and regular cleaning to avoid nozzle clogging.
• For the first setup, start with recommended profiles for a 0,4 mm nozzle and gradually decrease extrusion width, layer height and speed until optimal quality is achieved.
