The alternative hotend kit for Snapmaker U1 – 0.4 mm is a fully equipped replacement module designed as an equivalent to the original Snapmaker U1 hotend. This is a complete kit – the integrated hotend design includes a 0.4 mm stainless steel nozzle, a heating element with a ceramic element, a thermistor (temperature sensor), thermal paste between the sensor / heating element and the heater block, and a silicone sock that isolates the heater block and helps maintain a stable temperature. The module is sized for printing common filaments (PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, and others) in a temperature range up to around 300 °C, as required by the Snapmaker U1 printer.

Note: For the Snapmaker U1 printer, the entire hotend module is replaced, not just the nozzle itself. The alternative hotend kit therefore replaces the complete original assembly.
