AESUB Orange self-evaporating spray for 3D scanning 400 ml

    €39.77

AESUB Orange is a long-lasting self-evaporating spray for precise 3D scanning of glossy, reflective, transparent, and difficult-to-scan surfaces. It creates an exceptionally thin, white, and homogeneous matte layer without pigments, which sublimates on its own after the measurement is complete – without the need for conventional subsequent cleaning.

Precise 3D scanning of even challenging surfaces

AESUB Orange 400 ml is a professional matting spray designed for long and precise 3D scanning. It temporarily creates a thin, even, white matte layer on the surface of the object, which reduces unwanted reflections and helps the optical scanner reliably capture the object's geometry.

The spray is particularly suitable for glossy, reflective, transparent, dark, or heavily structured surfaces that are difficult to digitize without treatment. It is used in reverse engineering, dimensional inspection, CAD model creation, product development, and industrial metrology.

    Self-evaporating layer without pigments

Unlike conventional permanent matting agents, AESUB Orange contains neither pigments nor titanium dioxide. After scanning, the applied layer sublimates on its own, eliminating the need for standard mechanical cleaning of the measured object.

The absence of pigments also reduces the risk of contaminating sensitive cameras, sensors, laboratory equipment, and the work environment. The spray is therefore also suitable for professional operations where the cleanliness of the measurement workplace is essential.

The designation Orange represents the product variant. The applied scanning layer is white.

For long scanning and measurement tasks

AESUB Orange provides an effective scanning time of approximately 4 to 8 hours. It is ideal for larger parts, complex assemblies, measurements from many positions, and projects in which the short lifespan of a matting layer would require repeated application.

The layer is only approximately 2–6 µm thick, thereby minimizing its effect on the dimensions of the scanned object. The coating is homogeneous, non-slip, and allows self-adhesive reference points to be attached.

    Main areas of use

    • industrial and metrological 3D scanning,
    • reverse engineering and CAD model creation,
    • quality control and dimensional inspection,
    • digitization of glossy or transparent components,
    • automotive and aerospace industries,
    • mechanical engineering, toolmaking, and product development,
    • research, laboratory, and manufacturing operations.

    Simple application in three steps

    1. Spray: Use the container from a distance of approximately 15–20 cm. Apply the spray to the entire scanned surface using a slow and even motion.
    2. Scan: Once the layer has completely dried, perform the 3D scanning as usual.
    3. Allow to evaporate: The coating will disappear on its own after the work is complete. Complete sublimation takes approximately 12–24 hours, depending on the conditions and the amount of material applied.

    Safe use

This is an extremely flammable aerosol in a pressurized container. Use only in well-ventilated areas, away from sources of heat, sparks, and open flames. Before use on a sensitive or unknown material, we recommend checking compatibility on a small, less visible area. The spray is not intended for objects that come into contact with food.

    Key features:

    • Long-lasting matting layer for scanning for approximately 4–8 hours
    • Spontaneous sublimation without conventional subsequent cleaning of the object
    • Exceptionally thin layer approximately 2–6 µm thick
    • Free of pigments and titanium dioxide
    • White homogeneous coating that reduces reflections and optical irregularities
    • Suitable for glossy, reflective, transparent, and difficult-to-scan surfaces
    • Helps protect scanners and the work environment from pigment deposits
    • Self-adhesive reference points can be applied to the coating
    • Suitable for metrology, reverse engineering, and quality control
