Clear high-speed PCTG filament for strong, tough, and dimensionally accurate prints. 3DPower Hyper PCTG offers high transparency, chemical resistance, and print speeds of up to 300 mm/s. It prints without a heated chamber and is also compatible with automatic filament feeding systems.
3DPower Hyper PCTG Crystal is a clear filament developed for functional parts, technical prototypes, and end-use products where toughness, accuracy, and long service life matter. PCTG is a higher-performance alternative to standard PETG – offering higher impact toughness, very good layer adhesion, and low shrinkage.
The transparent Crystal shade is suitable for covers, containers, lighting elements, design models, and other prints where you want to retain a translucent to clear appearance. The resulting level of transparency also depends on the model geometry, wall thickness, and print settings.
Hyper PCTG is optimized for printing at speeds of up to 300 mm/s, enabling efficient production of large models and small batches. Low shrinkage and high dimensional stability help maintain the precise geometry of parts even at higher print speeds.
The material can be processed on standard FDM 3D printers without a heated chamber. The spool is compatible with AMS and similar automatic filament feeding systems.
| Parameter | Recommended value |
|---|---|
| Nozzle temperature | 245–270 °C |
| Bed temperature | 60–90 °C |
| Print speed | 40–300 mm/s |
| Cooling | up to 100 % |
| Heated chamber | not required |
Adjust the specific settings according to the printer design, nozzle diameter, print speed, and the desired appearance of the model.
PCTG combines strength with a high ability to deform before breaking. The typical tensile strength at break is 46 MPa, elongation at break is 230 %, and the VICAT softening point is 88 °C. This makes the material suitable for load-bearing parts that need to better withstand impacts and cracking.
Store the filament in a dry place and seal it in an airtight container with desiccant after use. If the material absorbs moisture, the manufacturer recommends drying it at 70–80 °C for 4–12 hours. Properly dried filament helps prevent cracking during extrusion, bubble formation, and deterioration of surface quality.
