Durable PCTG filament for functional 3D prints

3DPower Hyper PCTG – Black is a high-performance filament designed for strong, tough, and dimensionally accurate parts. It represents a more durable alternative to standard PET-G, especially for applications exposed to impacts, mechanical stress, or chemical substances.

Thanks to its low shrinkage and very good adhesion between individual layers, it enables reliable printing of functional prototypes, covers, brackets, mechanical components, and final products. The material is also optimized for modern high-speed 3D printers and supports print speeds of up to 300 mm/s.

Recommended printing settings

Adjust the specific settings according to the printer design, nozzle type, print speed, and model geometry. Higher nozzle temperatures and a corresponding hotend flow rate may be required for high-speed printing.

Drying and storage

PCTG can absorb moisture from the air if stored improperly. To achieve a clean surface, stable extrusion, and strong layer bonding, the manufacturer recommends drying at 70–80 °C for 4–12 hours. After opening, store the filament in a dry and sealed package.

The spool is vacuum-packed at the factory together with a moisture absorber.
