    The all-metal extruder feed gear assembly 3dacc replaces stressed components of the feed mechanism in Bambu Lab X1 and P1 series printers. The active and drive gears work together to ensure a firm grip on the filament and its even movement toward the hotend. Thanks to its metal construction, the assembly is suitable as a replacement part for a worn extruder as well as an upgrade for users who use their printer intensively or process technical filaments.

    When Should the Assembly Be Replaced?

    Replacing the feed gears is recommended if filament slipping, inconsistent material dosing, excessive filament wear, or visible wear of the original gears occurs during printing. Replacing the assembly separately can restore the feeding function without the need to purchase a complete extruder.

    Suitable for Standard and Technical Filaments

    The assembly is designed for filaments with a diameter of 1,75 mm, such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PC, and selected composite materials. When printing filaments filled with carbon or glass fibers, we recommend also using a suitable wear-resistant nozzle.

    Installation

    The part is installed into the existing extruder unit. Before starting the installation, turn off the printer, disconnect it from the power supply, and allow the print head to cool down. After installation, check the free movement of the gears, the correct seating of the bearings, and the cleanliness of the filament path.
    This is a feed gear assembly, not a complete extruder or hotend.
